I'm So Glad You Found My Page

Hey! Thank YA'll( see what i did there... nevermind) for stopping by.I am a lover of books, butterflies, buttons, baby animals, Caramel Apple Suckers and Vanilla Coke (Who cares if those last two don't start with a "B"?) Writing and Reading are my passions, but unfortunately the latter can get expensive. So, here i will post giveaways of the literary kind. ARCS, signed copies, swag, random rants, babbling blurbs, so on and so forth. Anything to do with YA. Cause who doesn't love books?!?!?!?

P.S. I've recently been approved to review for Netgalley... Stay tuned for more reviews!

Bloggy- Blog Hop # 2!!

Book Blogger Hop

I love blog hops, you get to meet so MANY great, new bloggery type peeps. So, this week i'm doing it again.  Crazy for Books  is the weekly sponsor and this week's question is...

“Many of us primarily read one genre of books, with others sprinkled in. If authors stopped writing that genre, what genre would you start reading? Or would you give up reading completely if you couldn’t read that genre anymore?”

My Answer is: I LOVE YA. I basically only read YA (any kind) and V.C. Andrews, and that may as well be YA. Would i stop reading if YA was never made again? No, but I would read WAY less and write WAY more to bring the genre back, even if it was never published.

How do you all feel? Would you stop reading if they stopped writing your fave genre?

P.S. If you're a blogger too, don't forget to mention it so i can follow you back! ;p

  1. Good answer! I never thought of writing it myself to bring the genre back if it disappeared!

  2. I'd never stop reading either. I'm a very eclectic reader, so I'd have plenty to read.

  3. agreed completely with you... I might stop reading for a bit...since YA is like a scape to me... and well obviously start writing and lol! sending my ideas to you so we could bring back the genre...

  4. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am now following you too! :)

  5. Thanks for visiting my blog, following back :)

  6. I like YA and Adult and agree I'd give writing a shot if my fav genre no longer existed. Thanks for stopping by the blog. Following you back. ;)

  7. New follower :) Thanks for stopping by my blog! I love many book genres (though YA is my favourite) so I would still read if YA no longer was written.

  8. Right there with you -- YA rocks! I'd cry big, fat tears if the genre disappeared (how would that happen? Black hole? Time travel paradox?)

  9. I love reading YA and your blog. Please follow me at http://seeitorreadit.blogspot.com/

  10. Well, since I'm a YA author, I'd be extra sad if YA ceased to exist (because how would I get things like food?), but I guess I'd drift over to science fiction. I do like myself some dystopia. Aside from YA, I mostly read literary fiction, so I'd splash some more of that into my reading mix in the absence of YA let.

  11. Great answer! I would write a whole lot more too. What is your novel about? I love your blog. So colorful and full of personality!
Thanks for stopping by mine! Now I'm following you.
